2026 BIKE SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATIONS

AUTHORITY & PERMIT

The event will be held in accordance with Motorcycling Western Australia (MWA), which has issued the MWA Permit Number as displayed on these Supplementary Regulations and is open to holders of Motorcycling Australian National Competition License’s.

This meeting will comply with the current General Competition Rules (GCR’s)contained in the Manual of Motorcycle Sport (MoMS) as issued by Motorcycling Australia (MA), the Supplementary Regulations (SR), and any final instructions (Bulletin) approved by MWA. By entering this meeting all parties agree to comply with these rules, regulations, by-laws and instructions.

ENTRIES & EVENT FEES

Entries: NOW OPEN
Entries close: 5pm, Thursday 30th July 2026

Entries via Ridernet ONLY. Entries are not valid until the entry fee is paid in full. Entries for the event are limited to 100 bikes however the Promoter has the discretion to increase number of entries.

Late entries will be accepted until Wednesday, 6th August 2026 with a late fee of $150 payable.

Entries are open to competitors from the age of 16 years and above.
  • All competitors 16 years and over MUST have a full MWA licence.
  • NO ROAD PERMITS Competitors cannot drive their race vehicle to and from on any gazette roads, before during or after the event.
​IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE COMPETITOR TO ENSURE THEIR RIDERNET PROFILE IS UP TO DATE.

Entry Cancellation/ Cancellation or Abandonment
Entry fees (less a $80.00 administration fee) will only be refunded if a competitor informs the Promoter, in writing, on or before Friday 7th August 2026. A medical certificate is required if a competitor withdraws later than 7th August 2026. A competitor who withdraws from the event after 7th August will not receive any refund. In the case of postponement or abandonment of the meeting, an $80 administration fee will be deducted from any refund given (this will go towards meeting already committed costs).

​ELIGIBIILITY & LICENCING

All competitors must have a current MA Senior National Competition license and Club Membership. Riders are required to show their MA license to the Race Secretary.

All machines entered must comply with the current GCRs for Enduro competition. Multiple entry of the 1 machine in different classes of competition is NOT permitted. Change of machine is allowed between Prologue and Day One of competition provided the machine is of the same class and has been scrutineered. Requests to change machine must be made in writing to the Clerk of Course and before 5pm on the day preceding next day start.
  • Entry Fee (includes pit 2 crew) - $600 (inlcuding Transponder Hire)
  • One Event Crew License - $27 + fees (must be purchased via Ridernet)
  • Late Entry Fee - $150  
  • GORRC Membership Fee (if applicable)- $65 (visit memberships page on this website)

Insurance & Personal Risk
Ambulance Insurance is compulsory for riders. The Promoter recommends all competitors review the adequacy of their ambulance insurance, health and other personal insurances.

CLASSES

The following classes will be contested:
  • E1 Up to 250cc
  • E2 251cc to 450cc
  • E3 Over 450cc
  • Veterans (35-44years) - All Powers – Rider must be 35+
  • Masters (45+) - All Powers – Rider must be 45+ 
  • Women - All Powers​
Note: No change to class entered after acceptance of entry

Trophies will be presented to;
All class’s 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. Awards will be based on the combined total times of the two days’ racing. To constitute a class the number of contestants entered and competing in each class shall be 5 or more. Should there be insufficient entries in any class of competition, the decision to run or cancel the class, or to combine events and re-distribute any awards and/or prize money, will be at the discretion of the Promoter – subject to MWA approval.

Friday 14th August 2026 - Dash Track, Miaboolya Road, Carnarvon, WA
  • Registration & Technical Inspection
  • Briefing - 8.30am
  • Prologue Bikes - 18kms - Starts at 10am

Saturday 15th August 2026 - Dash Track, Miaboolya Road, Carnarvon, WA
  • Day 1 Briefing - 6.30am & 2pm
  • Race Start Bikes - Day 1 - 117kms - 7.30am (Lap 1) & 3pm (Lap 2)

Sunday 16th August 2026 - Dash Track, Miaboolya Road, Carnarvon, WA
  • Day 2 Briefing - 10am
  • Race Start Bikes - Day 2 - 117kms - 11am (Lap 3)​

Sunday 16th August 2026 - Presentation Awards Dinner - Woolshed, Carnarvon Civic Centre

PRE-RUNNING
Pre-running of any portion of the race track in strictly forbidden and will result in exclusion from the event.

TEHNICAL INSPECTION
Thursday 13th August and Friday 14th August. 
All competitors MUST attend Registration prior to Technical Inspection.
Machines entered in the competition must have successfully passed a machine examination prior to taking part in recon, prologue or racing. 

Full riding gear MUST be presented at Technical Inspection.
A decal will be placed on the front number plate to indicate that it has been successfully examined.

In addition to supervising the pulling down and checking machines are offical protests have been received by the Clerk of Course in accordance with the GCR's, the Steward can order that any machine be measured and if this occurs the Chief Technical Officer will supervise a team member to pull down any machine that has taken part in the event. Failure to comply with this regulation will result in the matter being referred to the Clerk of Course.

Thursday 13th August - Premier Oval, Festival Grounds, Carnarvon
This is an important community engagement aspect of the event.


COMPETITIOR BRIEFING
